Post eclipse sightseeing

I watched the eclipse in Metropolis, Illinois.

BearDog was worried that Superman would lose his powers when the yellow sun disappeared, so he went looking for him. At first, BearDog thought he found Superman, but he wasn't real.

Next stop, The Daily Planet.

Turns out Superman is not difficult to locate. He's so fast, it's like he's in multiple places at once.

BearDog wanted his own photo too, even though he's much smaller than Superman.

With BearDog reassured that everyone was safe, we went to Kentucky for some pizza, and then to Cairo, Illinois, to see the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers. It's right there, behind me.

Ohio on the left, Mississippi on the right. Ohississippi in the middle.
